Paving Refurbishment

Revive a Driveway ensure each cleaning project is carefully managed. The process of paving refurbishment and cleaning is usually done  in 4 stages as detailed below -

Stage 1: The paved area is initially treated with weed killer or fungicidal wash to eradicate any fungal spores, algae and weed growth.

Stage 2: The paved area is then extensively washed down with a high powered pressure cleaner to remove any weeds, moss, algae and general dirt and grime that may have accumulated over time. Any Oil and Diesel patches or stains will also be treated and removed at this stage.

Stage 3: Pure kiln dried sand is then brushed into the joints between the paving to stabilise the paving from any lateral movement.

Stage 4: Smartseal acrylic block paving sealer is then sprayed* onto the block paving. This will increase the lifespan of the paving giving lasting protection from the reappearance of any weeds and algae.

* The acrylic sealant is sprayed in two coats over the paved area to make sure each individual block and sand is completely covered to provide a completely protective coating.
